Home Study CourseHistorical route: http://www.tracyskarate.com/System/home-study.htm Historical reconstruction: This page is stored locally. Where the original copyrighted page is not available for republication, the text is a locally authored reconstruction. Manuals and recorded instruction extended Tracy material beyond the physical studio and helped preserve a very large curriculum across generations. Reference, not replacementA manual can preserve sequence, names and key details, but it cannot feel the student’s balance or see a dangerous habit. Home study works best as a reference beside qualified instruction and safe partner practice. From print to videoAs technology changed, martial-arts correspondence courses moved from photographs and typed lesson sheets to VHS, DVD and online video. The current Tracy site still documents belt-level instructional recordings. Historical valueOld manuals and videos are valuable archives because they freeze a version of the curriculum at a particular time. Comparing editions can show how terminology and requirements changed. Tracy Legacy Web Site • historical reconstruction |
