The Tracy System & Curriculum
new reconstruction article

This section explains how the Tracy curriculum is organized: belt progression, named self-defense techniques, forms and sets, private lessons, home study and the school network.
Historical reconstruction: This is newly written editorial material based on surviving Tracy-family accounts, public historical references and the recovered structure of the classic site. It is not presented as verbatim text from the original website.
Preserve the map
The goal is to explain the architecture of the system without pretending one modern requirement sheet was identical in every school and decade.
Use current sources carefully
Where current Tracy organizations publish test or media lists, those are linked as contemporary reference points rather than retroactively imposed on the historical curriculum.
Sources & editorial notes
These sources help document the historical reconstruction. Some are lineage-specific accounts and should be read as such.
