How claims are handled
Participant memoirs and organization histories are cited as lineage-specific accounts. Where different branches disagree, this site avoids presenting one retrospective claim as uncontested fact. Dated certificates, photographs, advertisements and contemporary records are preferred when available.
Image policy
Newly generated interpretive artwork is captioned as reconstruction artwork and is never labeled as an archival photograph. Historical photographs will be added only when their source and reuse rights are sufficiently clear.
